Your IMAP password is encrypted at rest, all connections use HTTPS/TLS, and email content itself is encrypted in our database — not stored as plain text. Every email is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI classification, since that's the core of how SignalAI works; we don't use your content to train any models ourselves. Honestly — it can happen. Classification is AI-generated and won't be perfectly accurate. We'd rather tell you that plainly than oversell it. Don't rely on SignalAI as your only way of monitoring genuinely time-sensitive legal, medical, or financial communications — keep checking your real inbox directly for anything where missing a message would have serious consequences.
Nothing automatic — we don't collect a credit card for the trial, so there's nothing to auto-charge. If you haven't upgraded by the time your 14 days are up, your account simply pauses until you do. No surprise charges.
